Our Story
Miss Meghan’s Lobster Catch began with Meghan and her family selling live lobsters right from the living room window of their home. What started as a small local lobster stand has grown over the years into a family-run seafood takeout offering fresh lobster rolls, fried seafood, and other Maine favorites.
In the beginning, Meghan and her dad, Jay, caught the lobsters themselves off Old Orchard Beach. Meghan started lobstering at the age of eight, with her student lobstering license and later earned her commercial license, continuing the passion for the fishing industry.
A fun family memory — Meghan and her dad once caught a rare blue lobster while out hauling traps. View the news clip and article here.
Today, Miss Meghan’s remains proudly family-owned and operated, serving fresh seafood with the same hard work, care, and local roots it was built on from the very beginning.
